Questions
How accurate are the valuations?
Dramscope gives an estimated range based on recent auction results for the same or similar bottlings. The real price depends on condition, fill level, the box and provenance. For a high-value bottle, ask a specialist whisky auction house for a formal appraisal before you sell or insure it.
Is Dramscope free?
Scanning and identifying a bottle is free. Estimated values, sale history, where-to-sell guidance and price alerts need a subscription: £39.99 a year with a 3-day free trial, or £4.99 a week.
Does Dramscope buy or sell whisky?
No. Dramscope does not sell alcohol or buy bottles. It helps you understand what you have and points you to established auction houses if you decide to sell.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, choose Dramscope and tap Cancel. If you cancel during the free trial, you won't be charged.
Who can use Dramscope?
Dramscope is for adults of legal drinking age only (18+ in the UK).
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings › Account › Delete account. You can also request deletion here, even if you've uninstalled the app.
